The Concord bureau is located in our head office building in the West Midlands and from here we provide both our helpdesk and monitoring service.
The engineer-biased helpdesk provides your on-site maintenance team with the facility to obtain assistance over the telephone during normal working hours with any controls problem. Where your building has a product specific modem installed we are able, from our bureau, to conduct diagnostic checks direct to your BMS and should a fault be identified we can advise your on-site maintenance team to effect a solution. We have proved on many occasions that we are able to avoid the need for a member of our engineering team to attend site thus providing you with an economic solution to an immediate problem.
We do not advocate that supporting a BMS on a 'remote only' basis has any benefit other than overcoming operational difficulties. This service must be supported with a suitable maintenance package enabling time to review and enhance the system parameters to assist energy saving measures and the associated cost savings. If the situation is such that a member of our engineering team is required to attend site then we manage this via the helpdesk call logging system ensuring that you are updated continually.

The remote monitoring services can be divided into two specific elements, reactive and proactive. A reactive response by our helpdesk is instigated either by the receipt of an alarm at our helpdesk from the BMS to our helpdesk or from a client telephone call, whereupon the appropriate action will be undertaken. We also provide a proactive service to the clients that choose it whereby the helpdesk engineer interrogates the appropriate site at specific periods to determine the status of the monitored elements and confirm correct operation and whenever appropriate inform the client of any relevant issues that effect the efficient and effective operation of the building. Whatever the service chosen the events are recorded and available in a report format to each of our clients.
All alarms handled via our helpdesk/bureau facility are available for retransmission to your own personnel in either SMS or e-mail format.
